how the first Dreamkeeper came to life..
The seed of Dreamkeepers was planted through one of my greatest journaling challenges: I had notebooks scattered everywhere.
There was my messy creative notebook filled with ideas and lists, my calendar and planner, my art book, and my trusty journal for morning pages and life musings. I wanted a way to keep them all together, one beautiful home for everything that could travel through life with me.
And so, my very first Dreamkeeper was born.
It immediately became my loyal companion. There wasn’t anywhere I went without it, and when I did leave it behind, I felt a little lost, like a piece of me was held within its pages.
When I shared my Dreamkeeper with my community, the response was more beautiful than I could have imagined. I knew I needed to help others create one of their own, so I began with a very humble Google form and a burning desire to build a home for other people’s hearts.
Now here we are, with Dreamkeepers made by my hands, landing in your hearts all across the world. It is the greatest honour to bring your Dreamkeeper to life, a place to hold your wildest dreams through all the seasons and cycles of you.
why Dreamkeeper?
I can’t remember the exact moment the name came to me. Dreamkeeper is simply what I intuitively called mine from the very first day I made it, and the name stayed.
To me, it is a keeper of your dreams: a holder of the pages that speak of your life, your love, your heartache and all the beautiful things that make you, you.
Returning to this sacred place in ritual, time and time again, is how the seeds of dreams begin. It is where clarity comes, where we meet ourselves honestly, and where we begin taking gentle step after gentle step towards our wildest dreams, watching as our lives slowly bloom around us.

Hello, I’m Tarn — the heart and hands behind Dreamkeepers.
I am a deep thinker, feeler and creative, and I believe that is the heart and soul carried within every piece I make. It feels like a sacred act to create something for you that may become your loyal companion and the holder of your wildest dreams.
I live in a tiny home (a converted old bus!) in Byron Bay, in communion with the most beautiful land. Each morning I walk through the fields and down into the valley, where I sit by the creek, listen to the birdsong, and feel immense gratitude for this simple, beautiful life.
This little home is also where your Dreamkeepers come to life, with soft tunes playing and dreamy incense floating through the air as I drop into the creative process.
When I’m not crafting, you’ll most likely find me in my garden (my pride and joy!!), baking, surfing, laying with my head in the river, cuddling my pup Finn, or capturing the beauty of life and sharing my heart over on Instagram and YouTube at @oakieonfilm.
I am dedicated to building a life rooted in creativity, community, connection with nature and the free-spirited joy of simply being alive on this wonderful day.
